This tour is a great opportunity to escape for a half day and see the reasons why we live and play here in the Yukon.

Enjoy a scenic relaxing drive in a photographer’s paradise of diverse landscapes while learning about local history and the majestic coastal mountain ranges and the vast southern lake river systems. We will travel all the way to the BC/Yukon border, making multiple stops along the way. This tour is perfect for those who want exposure to the wonderful scenery mother nature has to offer here in the Yukon. *Includes a photo stop at Miles Canyon Viewpoint on the return trip.

What do I need to bring?
Dress for the weather, camera, sturdy footwear (uneven gravel, sand & dirt in places).

Will we see Emerald Lake?
Yes, we definitely include a stop here.

Do we stop at the Carcross Desert? 
Yes, you will be able to fill your shoes with sand here for sure. 

Will we see wildlife? 
This is possible depending on the time of day and the season. The species in these areas are: bear, caribou, goats and sheep. 

Do we stop at Bennett Lake?
Yes, this is another photo stop we make. 

What is Carcross? 
Carcross is a small historic village of approximately 300 people. Rich in culture, history and beautiful scenery. 

How many people can you accommodate? 
We manage groups from 2 – 40+. It depends on our staff availability for if we can manage the larger groups. Our typical group hovers around the 10 people mark. 

Do we have time to get out of the van? 
Yes, as mentioned above, we make quite a few scenic photo stops – you can get out of the van, take in the fresh Yukon air and get a few photo memories, then hop back in the van and continue onto the next area. 

What is Carcross Commons?
This is the main business hub in Carcross. Here you’ll find coffee shops, a bakery, gift shops, galleries and more! 

Will we see the White Pass Train? 
Yes, there is a good chance you’ll see the train, especially in the summer when it’s running from Skagway to Carcross and back. In the winter there is usually a few train cars left in Carcross at the station to view.
