Book multiple tours and receive preferred guest pricing!

What do I need to bring?
Summer – light jacket (dress for weather), camera, sturdy footwear (uneven gravel dirt in places, and stairs with approximately 25 steps with hand rails to assist you).
Winter – warm clothing, camera, sturdy footwear

Is this a van tour?
Yes, it is. We’ll drive you around town to all the hotspots giving you an information overload as we go.

How many people are on the tour?
We typically drive 14 passenger Ford Transit Vans, so if we can sell all the seats, there will be 14 passengers. Summer months the van will be more full, winter months are typically slower where you’ll see smaller group sizes.

Do we get in and out of the van?
Yes, we’ll make a couple stops at the more scenic areas where you can get out and snap a couple photos!

Can we see Miles Canyon in the winter?
No. The road to Miles Canyon is closed in the winter, we will fill that time by driving to other scenic hotspots in the Winter. If you want to see the canyon, you will have to hike in from Whitehorse.
In the summer we always stop here to let guests out and explore the canyon & suspension bridge.

What is the Fish Ladder?
This is the world’s longest wooden fish ladder to help migrating Chinook (King) Salmon in the final leg of their 3,200km journey. The ladder is 366m that allows the salmon to skirt the Whitehorse Dam and avoid it’s turbines. If you wish to go back and visit, we highly recommend it – they have underwater cameras and glass within the building to view the fish swimming by, Admission is by a suggested donation of $3.

Does this tour only cover the downtown area?
No! We take you all over our beautiful city telling you about what life here is like and answering any questions you may have (we go over a lot of information, so we welcome questions if anything is missed).

Is there lots of walking?
Not lots, no. This is mainly a van tour taking you around the city. In the summer we make a stop to Miles Canyon where there are approximately 25 stairs with hand rails, then uneven dirt ground to walk along, however that would be the worst of it. Any other quick stop would be on level ground with either pavement or gravel.

When does this tour run?
Check our calendar of Existing Tours HERE and see if we are running a tour in your available time slot – then contact us to get added to the van. If you DON’T see a tour running at that time – contact us to get one going! We do not run this tour at specific times on specific days – it runs as per guest demands.
