#2 Skagway AK Train Tour– Sightseeing Explorer

The ‘Skagway Day’ Tour is a very enjoyable day as we offer the most scenic drive ever from Whitehorse through the breathtaking coastal mountain ranges to sea level town of the historic town of Skagway, Alaska. Many stops along the way include Emerald Lake, historic Carcross, various interest viewpoints with vast southern lakes surrounding you.  Sit back and enjoy this day trip and best yet hop aboard the famous White Pass rail for an epic train ride through magnificent mountain passes and learn about the history along the way ending in Skagway.  Once in Skagway we will give you an orientation of the area and off you go to explorer on your own with a stroll down famous Broadway Street to check out the shops or simply enjoy a sampling of cold Alaska beer in the famous old Red Onion Saloon or take time to have lunch on your own maybe sample some fresh halibut or salmon.  Then we will meet back with the group as we will continue with several site visits and historic landmarks off the beaten path as we head back out of the valley.   Sit back, relax, and enjoy this day trip as we make our way back to Whitehorse at the end of the day. Valid passports are required and pre-screen information for train tickets we will require. All levels welcome. Medical travel insurance always recommended.  Dress for the weather (Skagway + mtns can be windy) and normal walking shoes.
